Our partner, a global leader in sustainable agricultural solutions is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of both general accounting and controlling responsibilities, playing a key role in financial reporting, planning, and decision support.

Main responsibilities:

·         Drive financial planning and performance: Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and in-depth variance analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities that shape strategic decisions.
·         Own the month-end process: Prepare and post journal entries (covering warranty, extended warranty, goodwill, and retrofit programs), reconcile key accounts, and ensure a smooth and timely month-end close in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
·         Manage provisions and project-related accounting: Oversee accruals, provisions, and cost allocations for various programs, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
·         Coordinate intercompany activities: Handle cross-entity billing, expense reclassifications, and cost center clearings across multiple regions to maintain financial consistency.
·         Ensure accurate reporting: Deliver insightful management reports and maintain clean balance sheet reconciliations that support both internal reviews and external audits.

Required skills:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting / FP&A/ controlling.
  • Experience in reporting and variance analysis
  • Strong command of English, written and spoken.
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Solid knowledge of SAP
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, resilience, and independence in a cross-border setup
