Our trusted partner, a global technology company, is seeking accountant professionals to join their team. This company provides cutting-edge imaging solutions and technologies to businesses worldwide, with a strong focus on sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of their products. The Statutory & Tax Accountant role focuses on the EMEA region and involves coordination with external audit partners across countries, as well as ensuring our processes stay aligned with local statutory and tax regulations by monitoring ongoing changes.
It includes reporting and large data volumes, which require strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. We welcome applications for both full-time and part-time roles of 6 hours per week.
Main responsibilities:
- Management of the end-to-end local statutory reporting processes (EMEA region)
- Responsible for managing the preparation of the statutory financial statements and ensuring that those are in line with the regulations and policies
- Preparing reconciliations between the statutory, tax, and USGAAP ledgers for the EMEA countries assigned
- Working together with the tax service provider in relation to the preparation of the tax returns
- Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of the statutory financial statements and tax calculations, ensuring the timely filing
- Responsible for supporting the statutory audit processes
Required skills:
- Master's degree in accounting and/or Certified Accountant qualification
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in an international environment
- Solid IFRS and/or USGAAP knowledge
- Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral
- Flexibility and ability to work towards simultaneous deadlines
- Ability to work in an international environment and to manage several stakeholders
- Proactive in identifying issues and solutions
Advantages:
