We’re looking for a Financial Controller – France & Italy to join a leading global industrial company’s regional finance team. You’ll own the full finance function for the Italian sales units, driving accurate reporting, compliance, and financial insights.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee all finance and accounting activities for the France & Italy sales units
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Manage budget and forecast processes in collaboration with business leaders
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, SOX, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external advisors for audits and local reporting obligations
- Review and validate GL data and support audit readiness
- Provide financial analysis, variance explanations, and business insights
- Work closely with AP and GL teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-scope / GL accounting and/or financial controlling
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal
- Confident user of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
