Our partner company, a leading international provider of corporate and fund administration services, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to strengthen its Real Estate Department and drive excellence in financial operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervision of monthly accounting, financial statement preparation
- Coordination and review of monthly closings, management reports, tax calculations, and tax returns
- Oversight of year-end closures and support of external audits
- Daily contact with clients and coordination of meetings and deliverables
- Review of reports prepared by team members: management accounts, annual accounts, tax returns, etc.
- Monitoring team deadlines and engagement efficiency
- Acting as back-up for accountants when needed
- Ensuring compliance with client reporting obligations under various accounting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, INREV, LUX GAAP)
- Liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure smooth compliance and audit processes
Required skills:
- University degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in accounting in Big 4 or an international financial service provider is a strong advantage
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure, autonomously, keep within tight deadlines and multi-task
- Strong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic and challenging environment
Advantages:
- Previous experience with international Real Estate / Private Equity structures is an advantage
- Experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements is an advantage
- Any other language knowledge is a plus
