Our partner company, a leading international provider of corporate and fund administration services, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to strengthen its Real Estate Department and drive excellence in financial operations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervision of monthly accounting, financial statement preparation
  • Coordination and review of monthly closings, management reports, tax calculations, and tax returns 
  • Oversight of year-end closures and support of external audits
  • Daily contact with clients and coordination of meetings and deliverables
  • Review of reports prepared by team members: management accounts, annual accounts, tax returns, etc.
  • Monitoring team deadlines and engagement efficiency
  • Acting as back-up for accountants when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with client reporting obligations under various accounting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, INREV, LUX GAAP)
  • Liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure smooth compliance and audit processes

Required skills:

  • University degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in accounting in Big 4 or an international financial service provider is a strong advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, autonomously, keep within tight deadlines and multi-task
  • Strong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic and challenging environment

Advantages:

  • Previous experience with international Real Estate / Private Equity structures is an advantage
  • Experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements is an advantage
  •  Any other language knowledge is a plus
