Our partner, the local commercial subsidiary of a leading international manufacturing group, is seeking a General Manager with a solid financial background to provide strategic and operational leadership, oversee financial management, and drive digital transformation, reporting directly to the Group CEO.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across the site.
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing, inclusive team culture.
- Oversee financial operations including general ledger, AR/AP, and compliance.
- Manage financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Provide strategic insights through forecasting and analysis.
- Drive digital transformation and process improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, and authorities.
- Partner closely with the group leadership team on strategic decisions.
Required skills:
- Degree in Economics or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive finance and leadership experience in international settings.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Solid knowledge of core commercial operations.
- Strong initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and proactive problem-solving.
- Confident, decisive, and persuasive communication style.
- Excellent analytical skills and structured, data-driven work approach.
- Proven ability to drive results aligned with strategic objectives.
