
We are looking for a Team Manager – Service Desk, a driven, forward-thinking professional ready to help shape a brand new Shared Services Center from the ground up in the heart of Budapest. If you have strong technical expertise in service desk operations, at least 2 years of team management experience, and a passion for leading support teams in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of up to 10
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage escalations, and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Address customer needs promptly and effectively, resolving issues to maintain a positive experience
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and drive team excellence
- Contribute to planning and optimize resources to align with business goals
- Use data-driven insights to assess and enhance customer satisfaction and overall performance
- Manage daily operations, budgets, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth team functioning
Required skills:
- Higher education degree
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service and 2+ years of experience in a service management role
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in service tools and software
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
