Main responsibilities:
- Support an IT application within a business-integrated environment, with a long-term goal of migrating it to Palantir Foundry.
- Ensure timely processing of monthly and quarterly reports, monitor batch processes and data ingestion feeds.
- Handle monitoring, issue resolution, and day-to-day operational tasks within the team.
- Implement changes, fix bugs, and optimize the application using test-driven development and proper testing.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and collaborate with international users and global IT teams.
Required skills:
- Five or more years experience as a software engineer, application engineer or data engineer.
- High level of abstraction, fast understanding, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools (preferably AzureDevOps).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and drive objections to completion, ability to work independently as well as within a global team.

- Proficiency in english (written & verbal) communication.
- Very good knowledge of SQL, databases (like postgres, Oracle), stored procedures, UC4 and Windows Server incl. batch scripting.
- Work experience on python scripts, using web services (REST calls) and systems integration (e.g. file transfer).
- Work experience on application operations, monitoring and orchestration (UC4).
- Open to learn new technologies and languages (e.g. pyspark, Spark, foundry platform, azure cloud platform).
