
An international company is looking for accountants with in-depth knowledge in fixed asset accounting. Apply if you gained at least 3 years of experience in a multinational company and would like to take your career to the next level.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the Fixed Asset subledger for EMEA entities, in compliance with US GAAP and Local GAAP
- Update and maintain Fixed Asset ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Run depreciation, prepare annual movement schedules, and support property tax filings.
- Manage internal orders related to fixed assets under construction and verify ledger accuracy.
- Oversee physical asset counts and manage asset tagging for newly placed assets.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Assist with corporate reporting, update closing schedules, and perform balance sheet and income statement analysis.
- Process accruals, prepare Fixed Asset roll-forwards, and assist with quarterly business reviews.
- Manage a team of 2 fixed asset accountants.
- Support internal controls.
- Contribute to special projects
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-7 years of related experience in fixed assets or general accounting within a multinational environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively interact with team members, business partners, and senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP or IFRS accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative mindset, able to think analytically and conceptually.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) is essential.
