
An international company is looking for a skilled Lean Expert & Finance Process Improvement Lead to drive efficiency and innovation across financial operations in the EMEA region. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful process improvements, collaborate with global finance teams, and contribute to the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations of entities across the EMEA region and the business dynamics of the company.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and global operations that can enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the financial functions.
- Develop business cases for process improvements and present these proposals to finance leaders in regional and corporate offices.
- Lead improvement initiatives and projects using lean methodology, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with finance teams and leadership in the region, as well as with teams in other regions and corporate headquarters.
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with various departments within the region
- Effectively manage project teams despite having no formal authority over them; Utilize influencing techniques to guide and motivate teams to successfully complete projects
Required skills:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience applying lean methodology to identify and implement process improvement opportunities in a multinational company.
- Previous hands-on experience in a financial role,
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Ability to identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within finance processes.
- A proven track record of using lean methodology to identify problems, drive improvements, and resolve issues.
- Strong written and spoken English skills are essential
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach challenges from a risk-based perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels within the organization.
