
An international company is looking for a skilled Regional Accounting & Reporting Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations, lead a team, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the financial operations and workflows of assigned entities.
- Supervise and guide a team of 3 accounting professionals.
- Oversee the monthly financial closing process and internal reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and deadlines.
- Ensure timely and precise submission of tax declarations and statutory filings in the designated region.
- Serve as the key liaison for external auditors and accounting service providers, facilitating statutory audits and financial reporting.
- Manage reconciliations between US GAAP and local GAAP, maintaining thorough documentation for any differences in reporting.
- Compile financial reports and regulatory documents, providing clear explanations and supporting analyses.
- Contribute to the refinement and execution of new financial procedures and reporting frameworks.
Required skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years of managerial finance experience.
- Experience in Big 4 firms or international accounting firm.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance, and qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA (or International equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and regulatory processes in large, high-transaction, multinational environments.
- Solid accounting and financial control background, with expertise in US GAAP or IFRS and at least one European statutory GAAP.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Experience in process optimization and transformation initiatives.
