We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Manufacturing Controlling Lead to manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting across European manufacturing locations. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring financial precision, improving cost structures, and providing valuable insights for key business decisions. This role demands a detail-focused professional with a solid background in finance controlling, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Build and lead a team of 5 financial analysts within the Budapest Shared Service structure.
- Manage financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze production costs to identify savings opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, aligning financial plans with operational goals.
- Collaborate with key departments (operations, supply chain, engineering) to provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and implement process improvements.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial performance and support operational decisions.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA certification is a plus).
- 7-10 years of experience in financial controlling, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors, with exposure to manufacturing finance
- At least 1-year experience in team leadership.
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, OneStream) and advanced Excel.
- Strong ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- German language would be a great advantage.
