As GL Process Expert you will shape a Budapest SSC from scratch, empowered to dive into new structures and aspire to take them to the next level.
Main responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for the general ledger process of the countries or operational units in scope
- Planning and monitoring the capacity and workload of the GL team
- Ensuring KPIs and rules and regulations to be followed by the team
- Coaching and motivating team members
- Playing an active role in the transition of Accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SCE in Budapest
- Participating and leading projects assigned to the role (incl. Process optimization)
- Being involved in day-to-day operations and participate in the periodical closing processes
- Ensuring KPIs and rules and regulations to be followed by the team.
- Participating actively during internal and external audits.
Required skills:
- 5 years of experience in GL OR 1 year experience in GL SME role AND 3 years of GL experience
- College or University degree (preferably in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification)
- Advanced English
- Very good understanding of the GL processes
- Solid SAP knowledge
- Experience with process improvement / automation projects
