Our client is a well-established global manufacturing company and a market leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. They are currently seeking a German-speaking Transactions Accountant with extensive experience and a passion for continuous development, who will play a key role in managing and optimizing payment transaction processes. This role offers an opportunity to drive improvements, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to process enhancements across financial transactions.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee cash remittance application, including adjustments and credits processing
- Provide daily updates on cash application status and interface validation
- Coordinate and verify payment runs, ensuring proper scheduling and approval
- Reconcile bank accounts, clearing accounts, and post relevant charges/interest
- Prepare financial reports, statistics, and cash flow forecasts as required
Required skills:
- College or University degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting
- Very good understanding of the AP processes
- Strong English and German language skills
- Very good knowledge of SAP FI
- Ability/willingness to travel
