We are looking for an M&A Consultant to join our client's team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced M&A experts, develop financial models, and assist senior team members throughout transactions. You will also collaborate with clients, supervise junior consultants, and contribute to strategic decisions that drive business growth.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor market trends to identify M&A opportunities.
- Conduct macro, industry, and financial analysis.
- Prepare marketing materials like teasers, pitch books, and presentations.
- Develop financial models and perform valuations.
- Support senior team members throughout the M&A process.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Supervise and mentor junior consultants.
Required skills:
- 2–5 years of M&A or Corporate Finance experience in investment banking, Big 4, or private equity.
- Master’s degree in finance or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for financial modelling.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Word for creating presentations and reports.
- Excellent written and spoken Hungarian and English.
- Strong analytical and financial accounting skills; CFA, ACCA, or similar qualifications are a plus.
- Experience across multiple sectors is an advantage.
