Main responsibilities:

In  your future  team professionals are providing advisory services encompassing IFRS and local GAAP accounting and regulatory support on accounting change and special matters;, like
  • IFRS conversion and implementation; 
  • transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance.
  • accounting processes and controls support;;
  • on call financial reporting advice; transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance.
 
Your key responsibilities:
The Expert Advisor have an opportunity to help other team member develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborates with clients , helping the engagement, and managing their expectations relating to deliverables.
  • Ensure work is delivered timely and in compliance with regulatory requirements and in accordance with the team service delivery framework.
  • Develop internal relationships across the EMEIA accounting teams and work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery.
  • Monitor the teams engagement, and performance against the budget, and alter if necessary.
  • Consult with appropriate resources on complex accounting issues.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and sales of new advisory  work.
  • When required, manage the delivery of engagements by defining strategy in consultation with the engagement executive, coach and develop team members
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an educational program across Assurance to continually develop personal skills of staff.
  • Identify development opportunities and training needs across the Assurance practice for high performing Experts and Seniors.

Required skills:

  • Degree in accounting, economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 to 6 years of experience working as an auditor, consultant or accountant for a large accounting firm
  • Professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
  • Analytical mindset and strong technical accounting skills in IFRS and local GAAP
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record of managing a diverse client
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Hungarian
  • Client oriented approach
  • Deep understanding of the client's industry and marketplace
  • Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Open to participate in business development initiatives and sales of new advisory  work.
