- Collaborates with clients , helping the engagement, and managing their expectations relating to deliverables.
- Ensure work is delivered timely and in compliance with regulatory requirements and in accordance with the team service delivery framework.
- Develop internal relationships across the EMEIA accounting teams and work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery.
- Monitor the teams engagement, and performance against the budget, and alter if necessary.
- Consult with appropriate resources on complex accounting issues.
- Participate in business development initiatives and sales of new advisory work.
- When required, manage the delivery of engagements by defining strategy in consultation with the engagement executive, coach and develop team members
- Contribute to the maintenance of an educational program across Assurance to continually develop personal skills of staff.
- Identify development opportunities and training needs across the Assurance practice for high performing Experts and Seniors.
Required skills:
- Degree in accounting, economics or equivalent
- At least 5 to 6 years of experience working as an auditor, consultant or accountant for a large accounting firm
- Professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
- Analytical mindset and strong technical accounting skills in IFRS and local GAAP
- Strong business acumen and proven track record of managing a diverse client
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Hungarian
- Client oriented approach
- Deep understanding of the client's industry and marketplace
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Open to participate in business development initiatives and sales of new advisory work.
