
We are looking for candidates for our accounting firm partner who are logical thinkers with a passion for strategy and helping clients solve important problems. Being a strong team player is critical in the role, as well as the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of the client’s goals.
Main responsibilities:
- Handle complex accounting projects for clients operating in various industries (GAAP conversation projects; accounting system implementation projects ext.)
- Collaborate with the Managers and the Partner, support the planning, execution and delivery of the clients' engagements
- Contribute actively in the team to understand and respond to the client's needs and expectations and develop a client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented work product
- Work with other service lines and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery across functions in an international team to meet the client's high expectations.
- Identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client and its industry.
Required skills:
- University degree with a specialization in accounting, finance or a related field
- Ideally 2-4 years of experience in audit, consultancy, and accounting services (big4 experience is preferred)
- Knowledge of business and economic trends and policy issues, emerging technical and industry developments
- Involvement in accounting areas - such as transaction accounting GAAP conversions and accounting change implementation
- Analytical mindset and an interest in strong technical accounting skills in IFRS
- Proactive, flexible and team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
