French-speaking GL Accountant

As a French-speaking GL Accountant, here's your opportunity to participate in an exciting transition where you can shape a new SSC from scratch, and be empowered to dive into new structures!


Main responsibilities:
  • Support the transition of General Ledger processes from European entities to Hungary
  • Responsible for periodical Finance closing processes
  • Asset accounting and IFRS 16 lease accounting
  • Accruals and provisions booking
  • Ad hoc reports
  • Balance sheet account and intercompany reconciliation
  • Preparation of journal documentation for internal-external audit request
  • Proactive collaboration with AP and AR departments 


Required skills:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in GL Accountant position. 
  • High proficiency in the end-to-end R2R process
  • University degree or equivalent experience, preferable in accounting or business/ Accountancy qualification
  • Professional working knowledge of English and French 
  • Experience in process automation, optimization
  • Enthusiasm for establishing and ramping up a new Shared Service Center 
  • Entrepreneurial & Self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and cooperative within the team
  • Ability/willingness to travel - once circumstances allow to do so
