Cyber Security Analyst
Our partner is a prominent player in the metal and renewable energy sectors, they foster sustainable development through innovative business ventures and strategic collaborations.
Main responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and implement new security-related use cases across different security monitoring systems within the organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to these use cases, including procedures and playbooks, ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Evaluate new use cases to ensure they meet all requirements, such as proper logs, indexing, and triggering availability. Provide support to the security infrastructure team in addressing any missing requirements.
- Monitor existing use cases in close cooperation with Managed Security Service Providers and internal teams. Offer advice on fine-tuning and improving these use cases for optimal effectiveness.
Required skills:
- Possess 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology, supported by a BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Hold certifications such as CEH, GCIH, OSCP, or equivalent in information security.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, cyber security incident response/management, vulnerability and log management, and familiarity with SOC or SIEM tools.
- Fluent in English, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within international environments.
