Internal Control Systems Manager
On behalf of our multinational client, we are looking for an Internal Control Systems Manager! If you would like to take the next step in your career, read further and learn how!
Main responsibilities:
Coordination and Continuous Improvement of the Internal Control Environment Globally:
- Implement various projects and initiatives to comprehensively optimize the ICS system and support other functions at headquarters and local ICS operations.
- Carry out reviews of process/control documentation.
- Train local ICS managers.
- Report and follow up reporting to the management boards.
- Promote and support process efficiency (e.g. process mining).
- Develop and promote control and test automation.
- Support local ICS processes: 1. Document local processes and controls 2 Test the design and effectiveness of controls 3.Develop and implement plans to address identified deficiencies. 4.Exchange best practices between the company's subsidiaries.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives (e.g. simplification).
- Implement and monitor guidelines (e.g. subcontractor regulations, external personnel).
- Monitor the timely and complete implementation of ICS measures.
- Participate in and support internal audits.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance,
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Internal Controls, preferably in an international setting, audit, or consulting (Big4)
- Experience in IT General Controls (ITGC)
- Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and enhancing business results
- Strong initiative, proactive approach, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to simplify complex processes and automate where possible to eliminate non-value-added work
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
- Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
