Senior Controller (French or German speaking)
Experienced controllers with intermediate French or German knowledge are welcome to apply to our global client's newly formed controlling team. Main responsibilities:
- Calculate Standard Cost: Ensure accurate calculation of standard costs.
- Monitor KPIs: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of financial variances.
- Propose and Implement Improvements: Suggest and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and process simplification.
- Collaborate on Forecast Requirements: Work closely with adjacent functions to develop all forecast requirements.
- Support Finance Transformation: Assist in key finance initiatives, such as SAP implementation, harmonization, and standardization of processes and reporting.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure financial and regulatory compliance.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Finance Business Partners.
Required skills:
- Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
- 3+ years of experience in controlling or accounting, preferably in the field of manufacturing/industrial production
- Advanced Excel skills (download data and use pivot tables, V-look-ups, etc.)
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
- Fluent English, strong intermediate French or German knowledge
