Main responsibilities:

The Billing Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate the AR billing function, work closely with the teams within finance centrally and each country and to keep key stakeholders informed of progress and queries.
Main tasks: 
  • Control and improve the billing activity for increased cash inflows
  • Maintain a solid master data environment using A5 and Salesforce
  • Keep contact in between the internal stakeholders, systems, and the AR team
  • Implement best practice processes
  • Handle collections and cash applications activities and team management as backup
  • Coordinate the AR billing team
  • Train and develop the AR team to undertake all AR processes successfully and ensure cross training is completed to enable back-ups so tasks are appropriately resourced
  • Performance monitoring and define the key KPI’s for the team
  • Oversee month-end-close to ensure AR deadlines are met

Required skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Billing (Accounts Receivable) and/or Collections, Cash Applications is required
  • College or university degree 
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in people management
  • Strong understanding of financial processes
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, knowledge of SAP B1 or Oracle NetSuite
  • Experience of negotiating with key stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to resolve problems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player attitude: ability to work with remote and international teams
  • Highly organized, structured and process-oriented, with great attention to detail, accuracy,
    and consistency
  • Proven relationship building skills
